Laura Fearn is an artist, illustrator and designer based in Bath, Somerset where she lives with her young family. Laura has painted several large sculptures for public art trails including Shaun in the City in Bristol, Cirencester Hare Festival Trail and The Baron's Charter Trail in Salisbury.
Laura paints street scenes which are bold, bright, colourful and full of light and shadows. Laura likes to record modern life as it happens and paints plein air when she can She doesn't shy away from incorporating traffic, scaffolding, street signs and people in to her work which she has produced in Bath, Bristol, Cirencester, London and Devon. Her paintings are available as greetings cards, giclee prints and of course originals.
Laura also paints and draws portraits, the paintings are large and executed in acrylic on canvas and the drawings are pencil on A3 paper. Laura specialised in figure and portrait painting during her final year at University.
Laura graduated from The University of Brighton in 1996 with a BA (Hons) Graphic Design (Illustration). After a course in Desk Top Publishing in Bristol she started work at Usborne Publishing in Wolverhampton. She moved to their London office in 1998 and worked in-house as Senior Designer until 2005.

Laura offers professional freelance design and illustration services drawing on a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Laura is running Adobe InDesign CS5, Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Adobe Illustrator CS5. Laura produces page layouts, cover designs, style sets books and series of books, prepares publications for production, carries out picture research, commissions illustrators and photographers and manages teams of designers.
